Here’s some good news! Chinese manufacturer OnePlus has announced a permanent price cut for its much-acclaimed OnePlus 2 flagship launched last year. The price cut applies to both 16 GB and 64 GB variants of the smartphone , which are now available for Rs 20,999 and Rs 22,999 respectively. Both models are getting a permanent price cut of Rs 2,000 and can now be purchased without an invite from Amazon India.
With OnePlus 2, the company built a device that offers incredible value with a spec sheet that is at par with most of the high-end devices. The dual-SIM smartphone rocks a 5.5-inch full-HD display, a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 bundled with 4GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel rear camera, a fingerprint scanner and a 3,300 mAh battery.
Both variants of the smartphone are getting a permanent price cut of Rs 2,000 and can now be purchased without an invite from Amazon India. (OnePlus)
In other company related news, OnePlus co-founder recently said that their upcoming flagship will feature a ‘new design’ and will be announced by June this year. Rumours suggest that the OnePlus 3 will be powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM and USB Type-C.
